Description

Far east and high up in India lies Mizoram, a state that is home to a people in elevated jungle areas. How thankful they were for us! In six days and two remote villages we saw thousands and thousands at the clinic, delivering care for people who have little to no medical means to get well. Their call for help is answered. We arrived by buses clenching the mountain’s ledge, one-lane trails. We left amazed. A people that live on the edge, literally, are given a life-line via medicine and care and show some Westerners great hospitality and renewed hope. Via these photos and through written word, we passed their thanks on to those who gave and made the outreach possible—the donors.
