Description
Served as Art Director and Graphic Designer, with duties to include conceptualizing, gathering art, layout and design work for each and every spread. Worked with peers who assisted with copy and/or design for various pieces and ads, finalized content submitted by various authors and proofed all work.
This was the second issue I worked on displaying the new redirection and face-lift of the magazine with the template concepted and designed by me. The idea: an updated look with clean pages for enhanced readability for our 55+ years old audience, a playful but meaningful, relaxed scholarly feel to attract new and younger readers, and a connection to our social media efforts.
